Here is my latest rifle and the obligatory range report. :)

SPECIFICATIONS:
Manufacturer: Rock River Arms
Model: National Match A4
Caliber: .223 with Wylde chamber
Weight: about 10 pounds
Barrel: Stainless 20" Wilson air gauged match, 1:8 twist, free floated
Scope: Super Sniper 10x (for load testing purposes only)
Iron Sights: .040” rear aperture, .050” front post
Trigger: RRA 2 stage national match

IMPRESSIONS:

This is one hot-rod AR-15. It is much heavier than other AR-15’s I’ve handled. The barrel gets a lot thicker under the hand guard.

The trigger pull is excellent. That being said I have never owned or shot a Geissele but this RRA trigger works for me.

Off hand, you get a very solid hold with this rifle. I look forward to shooting it with the national match iron sights at a greater distance.

I would recommend this rifle to anyone. Keep in mind that my opinion may be a bit biased as I have rarely met an AR-15 I didn't like.

Although they look like regular AR-15 hand guards, this photo gives you a view of the national match sleeve and how the barrel is completely free floated. Pretty slick in my opinion.

Here is a photo from Rock River Arms of the rifle with the carry handle rear sight. Please note that the photo featues an A2 upper rather than the A3 upper I have.

Our next match is October 17 & 18 at Homestead....You'll get a feel for a match that in some ways is similar to the NRA Service Rifle, and have immediate feedback on your shooting with a target marker in the butts....
Matches cost nothing as well.:)

Nice groups, but get out there 2-300 yard groups and see what that thing will do.....I gotta try building myself a AR tack driver one of these days

I'd love to but I am way to busy right now. I've love to come out anytime after Nov 1.

I hear ya. I only had access to 50 yards. I plan on taking it out to 600 yards when I get some free time.
