FN PS90's

AFAIK Bullets should be exportable from the US. Just need to get your hands on some brass and away you go.

but that damned teflon coated brass is hard to get. not to mention the shellplate if you plan on going progressive. There's that guy in the us who makes the shell plate for the dillon 550, he has never replied to my messages.

as to the dies, redding, lyman, and others make them

I'm thinking about an FS2000 tactical black with an +18.5" barrel so it's non-restricted. Is there any way to get one of these?

Questar has one listed on that gunauction dot ca ....it uses .223. If I hadnt already sold a Kidney to pay for my wifes fake boob's I'd be bidding on it right now.

I was once on the verge of buying a Fiveseven pistol and wanted to bulk up on the rare ammo first but couldn't find a steady, reliable source anywhere. In the end, chose a Sig 9mm instead and was happy.

In talking yesterday at the range (with the guy I mentioned above who has a PS90), he was mentioning that at least a couple of guys that bought FiveSeven pistols from Reliable actually returned them after a months or so.... after not being able to locate a single box of ammo anywhere. Also, in talking to one of the guys at Reliable on Friday, he was mentioning that - to his knowledge - they have not been able to get any 5.7x28mm, at all, ever, and they've tried (and they have the best stock/selection of ammo in the Lower Mainland IMHO).

A year or so a go. I picked up an empty box of 5.7x28mm SS197SR Sporting Cartridge from a guy that was shooting them at the range. Still have it in my junk drawer, as - in my view - you don't run across these too much.

Is there only one brand you can get? FNH USA? Anybody know if any of the ammo companies produce it now? Maybe that is the only thing that will break the log-jam. Other companies start producing the stuff. If they don't, I am afraid the two guns that shoot it will wither and die on the vine.

Count me among the people who who would love to see this stuff commonly available. Sucks that it is so a PITA to find.

I guess you guys have not called me yet as I have lots of 5.7x28mm. Sorry I couldn't help you guys sooner, I have not been on here too often.

Why do the authorities allow you to own a firearm for which ammunition can't be imported without significant hassle, if it's even at all possible? I'm guessing it's the new vector they'll use to kill off the shooting sports. After all, what's the point of owning a firearm you can't shoot...

Beause we can?

I have the option to buy a PS90 with 4 - 50 round mags for less than $1300.00.
The problem: I'm just not sure what it's purpose would be...
Plinking at the range? Personal protection in the home? Truck gun? Novelty item?

How do you guys utilize your PS90s?

Thanks :)

If they were that cheap up here, mags weren't pinned and I had cash to blow, I'd love one as a truck gun. Afterall, that's what the firearm was designed for.
