Hey all.

I am wondering where the crimson trace laser grips for Glocks can be found for sale in Canada?

Also, are they legal to import from the US?

Thanks.

Yeah, thats where I saw them, but Im not sure if its legal to ship into canada. Pretty sure theres a regulation that any "gun part" over $100 requires some sort of permit, maybe im mistaken. Hopefully someone that knows will chime in and help both of us.

i believe i saw them a while ago at "dante sport" in montreal.give 'em a call or check their website...

From what I understand though, that "permit" is required by the seller, not the purchaser. I could be wrong on that but that's what I understood from what I was told/heard over the weekend. Contact the retailer you are interested in dealing with---if they are willing to ship to Canada they should know the rules.

Yeah, I contacted them and am awaiting replies. I am 99% sure its the buyer that needs the permit though.

I am hoping dante can come through though as they are in canada already.

Better yet, if anyone on this forum has a used grip they want to sell PM me :p

I got confirmation from a member and he said they are legal to import. He also suggested I look on ebay. They go for around $169, which is a really good deal, so check that out.

I bought some mags recently from US, the response I got "Canada has a $100 limit on merchandise before export papers are needed." so it's the seller that needs the permit. They just split up the package into 2. Makes about as much sense to me as anyone else.

NAA.

Md charllton is the canadian dealer Although if you can drive ove to America you will save about $150 (Ps these grips are awesome on my g17

Ya, they really help out with trigger control. I notice on the poly frames I tend to jerk the trigger more than on my metal frames. Once I got this set for my styer it really helped me out but this firearm was still not my cup of tea.

I was looking at grip lasers lately but I use either hogue grips (which I am really starting to like a lot) or grip tape. I don't think either would work with the grip lasers.

I'll probably end up just getting an under barrel laser just for practicing but it's not high on my priority list...looks cool though :D

Anyone ever order direct from Lone Wolf? I just got some Lone Wolf parts from Questar (AWESOME SPONSOR!!!) but Lone Wolf has some cooool stuff on their site.

Just my 2 cents, but I've seen some issues with holding zero with the crimson trace for Glocks. We had it zeroed one day and by the next week, we had to re-zero it again. Not sure why, but it might have to do with how it's latched onto the gun. If you push the laser with your finger, it shows quite a bit of give. While on the 1911's if you screw on the grips tight, there is no give when you push the laser. I would suggest the laser max guide rod if you're looking for a laser. But if you're heart is set, feel free to go ahead. Just thought I'd give you the heads up/my observation at the local range before you spend your money.

Has anyone used these on Smith & Wesson MP40? I am curious as to the change in the grip size... does it alter? can I use the palm swells?
