OH MY;
I am beginning to regret this already....
Everyone has more information about them than I do....
I will try to answer this clearly;
1) Italy is in Europe not in the far East as some think....
2) These are 10000000000000000% new guns not "so they are building new receivers and putting the original rifles on the new receivers....?" as posted above.
3) "Perhaps they will simply have some European company do the final assembly and avoid us the need to re-index barrels." PLEASE READ OUR POSTS....
4) SHOOTEMUP seems to get the picture.... Why can't others ??
5) "Made in Italy, could this be a copy of the Beretta BM-59. ??? "
OK let me type M O R E S L O W L Y S O I T C A N B E R E A D the two models are M-14s dammit, NOT any other model....
JOHN
Can these come with bayonets?
I heard each one will come with 10 legal 20 rounders and John is going to fly to each buyer's house and give him a foot massage, but unfortunately the barrels are made of cast zinc, and the stocks are stamped tin while assembly is done in the Italian Embassy in Taiwan.
So I guess you get what you pay for...but seeing as we already have a written guarantee of a sub-$200 price point maybe it's worthwhile. They are supposed to be tack drivers for the first 4 shots, after which they automatically turn 12.6 for reasons no one can explain. They do come with a free Zeiss scope though.
Unless somebody comes up with an idea for cheaper 7.62 ammo, these rifles might not be shot very much.
So are these in yet?
