Dearly beloved,

We are gathered here today to mourn the death of one Frankford Arsenal, Quick-N-EZ Case tumbler who gave it's life heroically in the service of polishing 200 rounds of .223 brass for close to 20 hours.

Two years ago, purchased at Wholesale Sports winter sale, this magnificent specimen is is responsible for the single handed polishing of close to 10,000 rounds of .223, 9mm, .45 ACP and .40S&W despite the frequent abuse of it's owner, leaving it on for up to 2 days in an unheated garage with temperature extremes ranging from +30 to -40 oC.

Cause of death was excessive build up of fouling on the it's motor assembly, resulting in the threads holding motor assembly to strip.

Said tumbler is survived by 2 lbs of walnut Lyman tumbler media 200 rounds of unpolished .45 ACP, and 300 rounds of unpolished 9mm.

Or some mechanical butchery to make it work.

I treated my dillon like that for 15 years before it died.

They sent me a brand new one for free.
 
Oh the humanity of it !! My two tumblers Spirt and Sprocket want to know should they send Case Brite to the bereaved.

2 years and 10,000 rounds?
my father in law has an RCBS tumbler that is at least 20 years old, and cleaned hundreds of thousands of rounds, i borrowed it and of course the motor died,
called RCBS and they shipped me a new one at no charge before i even had boxed up the old one.
needless to say i went and bought an RCBS one for myself as soon as possible

That says a lot for RCBS product quality and confidence. In addition, their customer service is second to none. My experiences with them and including info from their tech people has been much the same.

I've mentioned it in other threads but when I went for a tumbler, I opted for their Sidewinder model. The main reason was the ability to go with a chemical cleaning solution should I run into some real difficult brass cleaning jobs. This unit has the flexibility of using crushed walnut or corn cob media for most jobs or chemical cleaners for the more difficult chores. It's never missed a beat.
