Gotta love Vortex's warranty!

I bought a pair of Vortex Vulture 12X50 binos 6 months ago on sale for $150 from $350. An absolute steal IMO. One small problem however. The rubber friction ring in one of the adjustable eye relief cups failed so the eyepiece wouldn't stay put. Without even digging out my receipt, I took them back to the store where I bought them, showed the fella at the counter the problem, and 60 seconds later I was out the door with a brand new pair.
Anyone have a similar or contrary experience with Vortex's unconditional warranty?

No they were on sale because the Vultures were discontinued for 2009 and then folded into the Diamondback line. Nothing wrong with them, just consolidating SKUs.

You got some great binos at a great price!
