Stevens 300 & Savage 4c

Are these the same guns or something? In the pictures they look very similar.

Well from what I've read about the Stevens 200 is it's an older model savage that's been 'passed down' to Stevens to be made and sold as a budget rifle.
I figured the same could of happened with the Savage 4, it was 'passed down' to stevens and renamed the Stevens 300.

No proof though.

IIRC, the Stevens 200 is basically the Savage 110 without the AccuTrigger?

Stevens 300 must just be the mark 2 without accutrigger.
I think the savage 4c is too old to be still in production that simply.
