Coming Soon - Euro M14's from Marstar!

Cars okay but I have to wonder, how many of you have Italian or European fridges, televisions, and god knows everything else in your house/garage that is now made in China? I mean the dressing is good but the Ferrari got its a$$ handed to it by the Chevy Corvette in all but the price category so now all they have left is dressing. That and wine.

I would take a $150 AK-47 over a CZ any day.

How about a Canadian made version? :canadaFlag:

At the moment there are NO SHOPS in Canada capable of producing this rifle for us....
That does not mean it won't happen in the future....

"Is there going to be only one shipment or several... I missed two shipments of the norincos before I finally had one. "

We have tooled up to produce these rifles as a regular item with the other new firearms we will be introducing, it will certainly be an ongoing venture.

Well since you mentioned it, what might these other new firearms be?

The problem is price and volume, having done quite a bit of research into this I can tell you that expected price will be close to the Springfield offerings. At that price would you buy one over a tuned norc for almost 1/3 the price?

Really the only thing propping up the M14 demand here in Canada is our gun laws and incredible Norc pricing. Plus making M14s from scratch is a lot more difficult then other semis in the same caliber.

Like that grammar hey...lol

Thanks for the response John and Rauch. I was just saying that everyone flames manufacture from certain countries yet have a pair of Nike shoes on and drive a Nissan.

However, it is nice to hear you are supportive of Canadian products and I do understand the obstacles. I have been Canadian off and on for 43 years and as one, understand how frugal we can be when it comes to the dollar.

By the way, I will be ordering one when they do come in because as a Canadian I'm also predictable and enjoy making my wife happy at the same time.

The problem is if you make it in Canada you have to have adults make it, in a shop which follows work place safety and environmental standards. You make in China, and you can use children to make it in a shop with no workplace safety or environmental standards, and whom you pay in rice, and who live in the factory.

FWIW, Springfield, Inc. outsources parts for its fireams. Not all suppliers are in North America.
There are those on this site who have visited China on business. What are the factories like?
