Well, last Friday was the introduction. The real challenge will be next Saturday and Sunday. CRAFM told me that Tim and Mario were great instructors. I have all my gear ready and my written exam is almost done. I am so excited and I can't wait for the weekend. :D
 
Good for you,
don't try to shoot fast, shoot accurate, time means nothing even if you are timed.
Alphas are the only way to go.

Antoine22 you are in for a great weekend Tim and Mario are great guys!!
Hope to see you at the ipsc practice on wed night at CRAFM and nov 28 is the start of there winter ipsc :D
 
Hi Antoine,

Good luck... You're gonna have a lot of fun. I did my Black Badge with Tim and Mario @ CRAFM in May.

I found Tim to be a bit intimidating / scary, but he's a great instructor. Mario is a great instructor as well.

You're gonna love it

Funny, if it is the Tim I am thinking of..........intimidating is the last description I would use. ;) Heck of a nice guy really.

Fancy pants? I will have to get the story off you later Quigley.:D Sounds like it could be interesting.:eek:

Just do what the others have said.......go to the course with an open mind, don't try to show off (never works out well!), shoot for the "A" zones, and above all shoot safely and have fun!!:D That is what this is all about.
 
Can i go off topic and ask u where i could get info on black badge courses ( dates, locations, cost, conditions)
Im in montreal and would like to take the course

Give CRAFM a call. It's $185 for everything. They write your name on a list and when they gather enough people, a date is fixed. There is an introduction course + a whole weekend of shooting.

You will need a belt, holster, 4-5 mags and mag pouches. I was told to bring 500 rounds for the whole weekend
