IDPA Match at Connaught Ranges

Well just got back home, 7 hours of driving, but what a fantastic time. I would do that drive again anytime. Big thanks to Don and Dave for putting this all together and Pat and Jim for doing a great job SOing, just a great time. Was also great to put some faces to CGN names and see some familiar faces as well. Thanks again guys, great match.

Sorry I couldn't be there to represent due to work! I probably would have embarassed our group anyway, especially if I loaded up on the protein shakes again! :D Glad to see you guys had fun. Watch out, as of November 2 you will be seeing a lot more of me! :kickInTheNuts:

I had tons of fun too. I definitely want to do more matches.

And yes, Connaught is a great place to shoot. :)

Can't wait to see the results. I'm anxious to see how I did!!
 
I forgot to mention, thanks to everyone who put on the match, and to the people I was shooting with. The advice while going through the stages was great!

Also a big thanks to the RO/SO's for being patient and explaining things for me, and putting up with my questions. :D

Thanks Ray! I really appreciated the advice you gave me through the match, as well as helping with the rules. I know it made a big difference for me. :)

I just got the results and to say I'm happy with how I did would be an understatement. :D

It actually is really good ammo. Except for the bad primers we seem to be hitting lately.... I had to do an IA during the first string on Stage 2(free-style while walking forward).

I've gotten 5 shot groups of under 1.5" at 25m with my Sig 226 Blackwater with it, and just under 2" at 25m with a Sig P250.
