No action from this post in while so here is alittle something to get this goin again as I did enjoy seeing all the interesting finds that everyone has came across.
Well nothing too interesting but here is a doe that me and the gf found walking threw the bush. The coyotes sure did do a good job on cleaning her up!!

Someone found a "hot seat" I accidently left behind when hunting, when I went to get I found his grunt tube he accidently left behind! Funny thing is I know their was only one other person hunting in that area, and the whole season we never did bump into each other!
Also found a lot of still used and abandoned cabins. One I wish I had a picture of. In Nopoming Park Manitoba, about a 3 or 4 hour canoe/portage past cole lake. An old cabin that was torn apart by a bear sitting along side a waterfall. Also an old mud hut built into the side of a river bank that was used by trappers before Manitoba was a province.
Old servey posts. All the ones I have found have dates. Makes you wonder what people were doing in the middle of no-where at those times.
Arrow heads, some weird ax head or tomahawk looking thing and a chunk of pemican.
Haven't got around to it yet but I have gps co-ordinates for a WW2 lancaster that crashed in Manitoba during a flying excercise.

Are you sure its a Lancaster? Their are only 2 (or 3?) Lancaster bombers is reasonable condition left in Canada. One is airworthy, and the other is close. If you really did find a Lancaster, and their is still most of the parts, then these museums will be VERY interested in it. Although chances are looter have already taken their fill. And I want to see pics when you do go.

crazy finds
I found a semi auto shotgun with the stock rotted right off it had been there a while for sure,also (and this is the kicker) a Honda snowblower with the tracks and a Honda lawn mower both in like new condition.Somebody had stolen them and stashed them in the bush.They were about 10 yards apart in a cedar swamp my buddy Dan found the snowblower and yelled at me to come over and I almost trip over the lawnmower making my way over to him.Dan got his truck down thru the bush and a couple of weeks later I was blowing out my driveway with it.

I have found a cam net, and a lantern (hanging from a tree)
In nov 2008 I was heading to hunt in saskatchewan with my buddy that lives in Regina. This was a day or two after that big meteor lit up the skies in the prairies. My Dad says to me the day before I left "Are you gonna hunt for that meteor?". What do I find in the bush in saskatchewan? An old Meteor station wagon with a tree growing through the hood. I need to get my own camera.

close up ....this was how I found it..
I know I wasn't more tham 10 minutes behind the doe,,,she layed down 10 to 13 times in a 5 acre area and in the last bed she left this fetus behind..
There is more too the story,,,ya wanna hear it.
