Just having a look on Springfield Sporters site and it says no longer shipping internationaly? I guess we can no longer order parts from them? I was looking for a nice set of blonde #4 Mk.I wood. Has anyone ordered wood from Numrich? Do they have any nice beech or birch?

It appears from the pic that the buttstock doesn't match. Usually when they state hard wood they are refering to birch or beech. This is the problem I find when looking for Enfield wood, getting matching wood.

Getting harder, when you do snatch it up and hold on until you get time to build up..
 
I just received a set of wood for a No.4. from Numrich.Definitely not matching, but in reasonable shape. The bottom and top front look new. I had to pay $11 + for Customs. Altogether, it came to over $100. Not sure about the economics of doing this, but... who ever worries? Well, anything is better than a bubba'd fore-end. This is a Savage No.4. It had nice wood at one time.

uggg this sucks, i picked up a p14 with my no1 stock money, i was gonna order from springfield...bleh

is there no where in canada sitting on a pile of these?
 
Couldn't you just get it shipped to a post office box just across the border and pay the taxes/duties through customs...I don't think it would cost much and see no reason why you would need to have a permit to import a piece of wood..even if it happens to be for a firearm.
 
funny thing about this is I emailed them a few weeks ago about parts. I called them this morning and then they finally emailed me back, only to tell me the same thing I asked over the phone.

I ended up getting what I needed from Marstar
