Would this fit a 590A1? Light mount help Please.

Do you think this would fit a the 590A1's heavy barrel? I can't seem to find any info on what it does and does not fit.

I would really like to use my TLR-1 on my new shotgun but I am unsure of what fits the heavy barrel of the 590A1.

Any other suggestions or similar mounts that would allow me to run the TLR out closer to the muzzle. I don't want to mount on the fore end as it just to far back with the 20" bbl.

I may just order and see as you say. I asked on the Brownells website "anwser box" thing, the reply I got said nothing about the barrel and that it only fit Nordic's own mag tubs, but I don't think that is entirley accurate based on reviews I've read about it. If its close I could bust out the dremel :runaway: If its not even remotely close to fitting I could sell it for sure.


Any other ideas on mounting a TLR out near the end of the gun?
 
Badboybeeson of S&J hardware (on this site) had a simlar item listed awhile ago. He may have what you are looking for and he's in Canada!

Hey Giggidy,

I've been looking for the same thing for my 590A1 18.5" and came across this promising product! It mounts to the mag tube. I don't think you'd want to mount anything directly to the barrel?

I'm in the same boat.....looking for a lightmount for a 590A1. Tried to order the one from Brownells but no-go as far as exporting. Tried the Botach one and will wait to hear from them, but not getting my hopes up.
 
Hey Giggidy I did contact Botach awhile ago and the rep confirmed that they do ship to Canada. Hopefully he knew what he was talking about! I have yet to order one though as I'd need a mag tube extension for my 18.5" first and dunno if I wanna go the added weight although extra capacity...
