#1 new model 70 all weather extreme fluted SS with the bell and carlson stock chambered in 30-06 so it holds 5 in the internal mag and has the 22 inch barrel Or maybe 300 win mag that holds 3 and has a 26 inch barrel.

#2 Tikka t3 in either 30-06 or 300 win mag. Probably blued synthetic but maybe stainless and camo.

So any input on either of these would be great I am totally torn between the two. Truth be told though I am leaning towards the model 70.

Well stop leaning that way and go buy the Tikka, FS

The Winchester is more rifle for the money:

-Controlled feed
-More open topped receiver for single loading
-No cheesy plastic action parts
-Better looking

Kind of a side question: With the CRF, shouldn't all round come from the magazine anyway? That way the rim of the case slides under the extractor claw. Just pushing a round in and then closing the bolt is hard on the extractor claw, since the claw would have to get forced over the case rim. I know my mausers are like that, and I assumed the Winchester would be the same, no?
