I guess you are right but man it is crazy that I can take my Garand out to play at the range using 8 round enblocs and my SKS is nutured to 5 by some knob with a Canadian tire welder...

I bought 2 sks, the pin has fallen off both. one was welded on to the follower and the other was riveted to the botom of the mag cover. the second riped a piece of metal out of the bottom of the mag well. the first there was no dammage to it. pissed me off I have to re solder the pins every now and then.

I with you i would love to have my old 10 rd box back like the day i bought my first sks, but think you would have better odds of winning the 6/49 3 times in 6 months then getting the govment increase the mag size on what most people think is a millitary assult rifle.

i also have a black painted Lee enfield, its also an assult rifle, but they let me have 10 rds in it, is that scary enough for you.

See told ya'all it made sense! The SKS should be allowed to have 10 rounds as it was designed just like the Garand for 8 rounds. As soon as (if) the registry goes next week, this should be our next project to focus on.
