Wesson & Harrington 7 shooter

I can buy this if I can help the old timer who has it with legalities. He delivered all his gun's to the police station for registration (he has lots!) and they never got this one included(what he told me)
It's so old I think it could be easily de-activated and registered as a curio(my description may be wrong).
It's a Wesson and Harrington 7 shot.
He called it a Cowboy's boot pistol. Anyone ever seen one?
It's a .22 0r .25 rimfire.
Is it worth the trouble?

That one might just qualify as an antique, which, AFAIK doesn't need to be registered. Maybe one of the sponsor dealers can answer this question?

If it is .22rf, it might be a 12(6) prohib; if the barrel is over 105mm, its restricted. If it is .25rf, it is an antique. Better find out.

It's got to be older than dirt. Do firearms become Antiques after a set time period? This one is 120+ years old I'm guessing...

Age does not automatically confer antique status.
No .22rf pistol is antique.
No centerfire repeating rifle is antique.
Doesn't matter when they were made.
If that revolver is .22 (short, long or long rifle) it is either restricted or prohibited. Its a small one, so it might be prohibited.
Measure the barrel length.
