VX1 or 3200 3-9x40

VX-I. Leupold quality and better yet, Leupold fast reliable warranty service, in Alberta, should you ever need it.

Not sure what VX-1's are going for in your area but around here you can get a Bushnell 4200 for the same money and I think it is superior to the VX-1 and at least on par with the VX-11

Here's the $ comparison at my local shop all 3-9x40"s

3200 = $249.99
4200 = $354.99
vx1 = $350.00
burris = $355.00

So now whats the best deal? And again this is going on a new slug gun so it needs to handle the recoil aswell.

Thanks

There is no doubt that Leupold assembles nice scopes, and there is no doubt that their turn around time with service issues is superior to any scope available in Canada. I have 40 or 50 scopes and never had a problem with any of them. Bushnells, Nikons, Weaver and Leupolds.

For me, I'd never make it part of my buying decision. I have always thought that dollar for dollar Bushnell scopes are a far greater value. FS

if your on a strict budget the 3200 other wise go for a luep. lighter and tougher. if you can find another $100 go for a vx11. you will be using it long after you trade the rifle off.

Leupold all the way! Bushnells service sucks, and I've had to use it several times in the past 5 years. Turnaround time has me sworn off Busnell for centerfires completely. One issue with a Leupold, and I had it back practically before the rifle cooled off completely. Eagleye.
