Tried the search but to no avail. Does any one know what the app value of a 1949 Longbranch Model 4mk1*full stock??? I'm thinkin about selling it but still on the fence about it.

Well at first I was thinking about the usual "well, in good shape, original, between $300 and $450" kind of answer.

But then, I asked myself - how common, or uncommon, would a 1949 LB be? But I don't have the answer to that, sorry. Anyone?

Condition is crucial...1949 is a pretty rare year too.

A board member of my acquaintance sold his 49 a month or so ago.

$400-$700 depending I guess.

Prices are a bit soft in these economic times too.

Was that the one on the EE? I think it was going for $600. Lots of quality pieces sitting there a long time. I think milsurpers are really feeling the pinch.

I would say around $550-650 for a good condition one, more if its Minty. Like mentioned before, 1949' are not as common as other years.
