doesn't matter

Doesn't matter if it is or isn't - it's not an expensive rifle. Probably could tell a tale about being dragged through the brush or cradled on a Christmas morning. It looks like someone really cared about it at one time. Let's see a youth today put down his PSP and pick up some tools. Workmanship is in the eye of the beholder. I wish I could hunt down my first rifle - oh the tales it would tell.

My first rifle would tell tales of my fondness for the Desmond Bagley novel The Tightrope Men ;) - it was (and is) an AR-7......:yingyang:

It looks okay. Maybe refinish the stock with something that doesn't shine.... The inlays seem to be nicely done. It could be much worse!

Shoot good?
I got a model 4(magazine fed version) from a CGNer last week, should be scoped and shooting by the end of the week.

Here's some info on the Model 3s,

It's still locked in Grampa's gun safe with about 30 others LOL. Never shot it, he wants to sell the whole works; just don't know how much to offer...
