I've just ask Kodiak outpost to look into it. They said that they are looking to import the unit if possible. Maybe you should drop them a line and that will show them the interest from the community for these unit!

Barrel on mechtech's CCU is just a pipe, there is no complicated machining or milling involved. If you get 45 barrel blank you can just machine OD and chamber it and voila you have a barrel. I would also try Mechtech directly, they are selling all components separately.

I have been looking for a well priced bbl blank in 45acp but have not been able to find one.

Actually I am looking for the whole upper that will only need the frame of a 45acp pistol to convert in an neat carbine light and fast firing..

Waiting for Kodiak ,they are usually very fast in giving you an answer!

I contacted Mech Tech a couple weeks ago. They are not directly exporting right now. It would have to go through a distributor. If one of the distributors I normally use gets any in stock I will definitely look to bring some in. However, it would likely be several months.

Barrel quality is visibly different between my 2 Mech techs, a lot of tool marks on my newer one.

A non-restricted lower would be cool.
