i too am looking into the DBM from what i have found Glen Seekins offers the most O.A.L. in his system,and from what people on other forums are saying his is one of the best built bottom metal systems ATR carries them in Canada his o.a.l. for the 338 Lapua is 3.90 and for the wsm it is 3.10" which is a couple hundred thou. longer than most other systems,starts to become an issue when loading VLD type bullets

Alberta Tacticals system they are making sure looks good, its on my list and made in Canada to boot. I have a Badger Bottom metal on my 6.5x47 that uses the AI mags and it sure works well and is built tough. I think the bigest thing with all the aftermarket clip systems is having somone who knows what there doing install and fit it proper to your action. I dont think anybody makes one that just bolts in to say a Rem 700 action in 5 minutes and works flawlessly.

The price differences between the better options, ATRS, VBull, Seekins, Badger or HS Precision are nominal. The amount of reinletting with the exception of HS is also about the same.
There are significant differences between the makes. Badger for example has lots of nice sharp edges, ours has not. The seekins mag are longer but being proprietary could be an issue getting in the future given the whims of the US government.
The ATRS and VBull DBM kits use Accuracy Int mags which are readily available unless the UK suddenly decides that 1 of its colonies is a "crime control country" and treats us like the US government now does.

They are well made, feed VERY reliably, are readily available and a bit longer than some in OAL dept, not as long as Seekings or PGW however
