Cabela's hunting video games

some are ok , some not. dangerous hunts was my least favourite , too structured and couldn't stray from the story. the decent ones give you free reign to explore and jump on ski-doos etc. all in all they are underwhelming but they are all we have.
 
Dangerous Hunts 2 - It had a pretty cool trailer. Never played the game though!

I got Hunting Unlimited 2008. It's pretty good.
 
Trophy Hunter 2003: Legendary Hunting is the best imho. Sounds are great, models are great. The wildlife look like their suppose to. Animals respond to calls. Deer Hunter 2005 is a great game as well. The bucks actually fight when you call them in. Cabelas games on the other hand are really bad. The calls are always wrong. Wildlife models are almost always really poorly done.

tried the dangeous game hunter. what a joke. fighting off lions and tigers with a knife ir a buttstock to the chops.
 
A couple years ago I would play them. Most of the time if I got bored fast though. I think I would only recomend them to kids.
 
Might try the new 2010 big game hunter for nintendo wii. looks like you get a gun with the kit so it might be like the big buck hunter in the bar. great after 1/2 dozen beer.
 
Dangerous hunts 2 is a good game. I have it for the original xbox and still play it. Have cabelas african safari for xbox360, its a pretty fun game, you shoot at herds of animals from a truck, LOL gotta love cabelas.
 
I've got one version laying around here somewheres.
Never took the time to learn how to play it.

Edit: Just found it... "Big Game Hunter"... it's for a PC.
 
Nobody has tried Cabelas Outdoor Adventures? that game has fishing and hunting in it, looks pretty sweet. I am going to buy it when the store here has it in stock. Anyone try it yet for the Xbox 360?
 
I've got Cabela's African Safari. A lot of fun and well engineered, just wish they featured more countries to make the game longer.
