How Easy is it to knock off a scope?

And by mentioning Guntite,I was letting people know that there is a product specifically recommended for use on firearms.Scope mounting is specifically listed as one of the uses. And as I previously mentioned,it isn't purple.:D
You might want to look it up for your own information.

I have used guntite before but for the cost of it the loctite i use is alot less and does the same job. I also found that the guntite is like 243 loctite which is surface insensitive, made for vibration resistance and a bit easier to remove than 242.:)

Actually loctite 243 is just an oil resistant version of 242.It is listed a medium strength, just like and is blue in color just like 242.In fact, according to a loctite rep,Guntite is nothing more than 242 in a different package. So the end result is that 242(in a different package) is being recommended for use on firearms by the company marketing it.

And since Guntite is actually 242,it isn't the same as 222.

I did not say guntite was the same as the 222 i said it was more like the 243 blue loctite which is oil resistant but also seems to resist vibration better than 242 blue loctite, from personal experance i have found 243 a bit easier to remove than 242. The 222 is easeist to remove out of all as it is low strength and is just what i prefer to use.
