How Easy is it to knock off a scope?

And by mentioning Guntite,I was letting people know that there is a product specifically recommended for use on firearms.Scope mounting is specifically listed as one of the uses.And as I previously mentioned,it isn't purple.
You might want to look it up for your own information.

I have used guntite before but for the cost of it the loctite i use is alot less and does the same job. I also found that the guntite is like 243 loctite which is surface insensitive, made for vibration resistance and a bit easier to remove than 242.

Actually loctite 243 is just an oil resistant version of 242.It is listed a medium strength,just like and is blue in color just like 242.In fact,according to a loctite rep,Guntite is nothing more than 242 in a different package.So the end result is that 242(in a different package) is being recommended for use on firearms by the company marketing it.

And since Guntite is actually 242,it isn't the same as 222.

Actually loctite 243 is just an oil resistant version of 242.It is listed a medium strength,just like and is blue in color just like 242.In fact,according to a loctite rep,Guntite is nothing more than repackaged 242.Therefore 222(purple) is not the same as Guntite.

I did not say guntite was the same as the 222 i said it was more like the 243 blue loctite which is oil resistant but also seems to resist vibration better than 242 blue loctite, from personal experance i have found 243 a bit easier to remove than 242. The 222 is easeist to remove out of all as it is low strength and is just what i prefer to use.
