So, i'm wanting to put a scope on my SKS, not a big scope, just a scope that will give me a better view rather then the iron sights, i really like being able to use the clips, so i don't want the scope to go over top of the action. Could someone link me a mount and what type of a scope i would need to achieve this?

Thanks

If you like how the authentic SVD scope looks on my SKS you could get one from here: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=417883&highlight=POSP

Yes i also wonder if they hit the bottom of the scope when ejecting.

I like that SVD scope, goes off to the side, so your can still use the clips, but i'm unsure if i want to spend as much money on a scope then the gun costed itself. Almost.

Do you need to drill holes in the gun at any point?

Yes, for russian side mount scopes you would need to drill and tap the holes in the reciever...if you buy the scope and the side rail from me (or the rail could be yours) I can drill and tap it for you for free, you just pay for shipping the rifle both ways...:D
