Ross Rifles in good to vg condition?

Lastmag very impressive.Man I,d like a tour of your gunroom.Tell us more. Please. Oh I only own one Ross.according to firearms register is a 1905 E Sporter

Simply put, be willing to shell out 1000 dollars for a decent example in full military. Anything less you can be sketchy about. These are getting rarer by the day and collectors act like museums never letting these babies see the light of day, so if you have the cash, and can get one, go ahead. I knew a gentleman at the Orangeville gunshow who re-built a Ross Mk.II with new wood etc and was still asking 950 for it.

You've sure got that right...collectors do what collectors do, which is acquire as many as possible while never letting go of any good ones.

Rosses are pretty thin on the ground.

Nice Rosses Lastmag, is the rear sight on the MK III a different sight then the regular battle sight or is it just the way it looks in the picture

A.G. Smith has one in the current issue of Access, if anyone is interested let me know and I'll give you his contact info. I believe it's similar to the one manitou210 showed a picture of.

Saw that M-10 at Victoria show Oct.31. Very nice and priced accordingly. I managed to acquire a very nice M-10 from another table. Just got back from hunting in Alberta last night or I'd have been in on this thread earlier.
