LaRue SPR M4

Like finding hens teeth. LaRue has NO dealers in Canada, and none of the American LaRue dealers will ship to Canada. Which leaves you with importing them on your own dime... Not easy, and the quality is not worth the mounts cost, plus 750 dollars to get Questar to do it.

Try the American Defense MFG mounts at Arms East :D

The RECON 30mm (or 1 inch) is the 50% cantilevered mount. They are great quality, and ADM actually cares enough to support Canadian customers!

I have the low profile mount for the Aimpoint Micro T1 on my Benelli M4 shotgun, and its a wicked mount! The cross slots are solid steel, and are very well made. The mount is just plain solid.

A great option thats exactly what im looking for but they are currently sold out. ARRRG! Can you mount a flip up sight under that mount?

If your looking for a flip to side mount Samson is the only one that I know that makes anything worth wild. But if you want a scope mount that you can use your iron sight's with it would have to be;

Actualy I think I got a pair that I mount on my m14 so I can use my iron sight's as well as my scope. Works great so far. But if you are looking for an ar make try arms mounts one;

If you're referring to the use of a flip up BUIS, like in the picture you posted, that is one of the nice things about the Larue mount, and the ADM imitation. They are quick release so you can pull it off to switch to your BUIS.
I use an ARMS #40L under the Larue mount on my long barreled AR.

:agree:
Also if there is enough money there is a way to get LaRue stuff in Canada because you see it from time to time come up on the EE.

You can get lucky looking at the EE listings for a LaRue mount. Got both of mine that way and they are the best of the best for what I needed. I just switched from a scope to a EOTec on my 11.5" AR so my LaRue mount is for sale. http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=399298 Once in a while they do come up for sale so figure out which model you want. Mine gives lots of space for a rear flip up sight(I have a ARMS#40L that had lots of room) Its the 1.93" rise QD LT-135.

A Troy flip up rear sight fits fine under my Trijicon 3x9 on a ADM recon QD mount. They are 1.4' to the middle same as the TPS Xtra high rings. While the TPS rings arent QD they are better than either the Larue or ADM IMO. You can order TPS rings right from their website.

So I have to use a flip up rear site smaller than 1.4 if I want to use that mount correct? Now to find an ADM recon 1 in stock.
