Crossbow Buck

I shot this buck with my Excalibur Exomax on Tuesday afternoon. It was one of those hunts that don't happen very often. I got in my stand at about 2:40 pm. I did a bit of grunting, waited about 10 minutes and did a bit of rattling. Within 5 minutes this guy came charging in looking for a fight. The first pic was taken as he crossed through my trail camera that was set up near a different stand about 75 yards away. About 30 seconds after that pic was taken he was dead. I shot him at about 15 yards and recovered him about 50 yards away in a small creek.

Nice looking buck, and congrats......he looks eerily similar to one I have caught a few times on my trail camera. Would you mind disclosing the general area around London that you hunt.....nothing specific, but general location?

nice buck...im hoping to pop my cherry with the x-bow this year myself..i have the same gear as you..is that a Boo string on yours also?

That is indeed a Boo string. I wouldn't shoot and Excalibur without one...well I would but they are much better with.

That is a "Dan Miller" quiver mount. It came with a used Exocet200 that I bought. When I sold it and bought the Exomax I liked it so much I kept it. Much better than the stock quiver mount.

Burnsy......i might have miller mount kicking around here somewere..if your bow is a newer excal it should fit...i,ll trade you for any thing gun or bow releated..
just dont tell me what,as i like surprizes

i,ll take a pic of it on my bow to make sure your bow has the same little thing a mijig to mount it on
