Were to find good 7.62x39 Ammo in Canada ?

Does anyone outhere know were to find some good 7.62x39 ammo in Canada for the Vz.58 ?
Relatively cheap?
In the Ontario province?
Or Online?

Having trouble finding 7.62x39, I only found some soft point, which i heard is not good for a vz58, and it comes in 20's.

And found some milsurp. but that stuff jammed my rifle pretty bad.

Ahh, Elwood Epps, i should check them out. Do you know what type they carry ? Is it cheap?

Virtually all the 7.62x39 in the country now (and for the last several years) is the Czech stuff. Available in green wooden crates for $169-199.

The pros:
-designed for the VZ58
-Cheap

it indeed starts at 169$ but some people were asking up to 240 dollars lately

Non-corrosive and cheap? Good luck with that. Even reloading is not particularly cheap for x39.

one odd little thing though,
if this surplus stuff was designed for the cz 858/vz 58, then why did it jam up so majorly on mine after firing only one round?

Since the great majority of the Czech surplus was brought in by us I can tell you that it is ALL corrosive....

Any of the dealers mentioned here can provide you with the very same ammo, as can Wholesale Sports, SIR/CABELA, Milarm, etc, etc.... Its all the same

probably a dirty (laquer build up) or corroded chamber.

Quality wise? Packaging?

Or just the same steel cased corrosive that was made in '93 instead of '73.
