squirrel season in quebec?

I've read that squirrel meat tastes good if the squirrel is still young when it's hunted which is why i'd like to give it a try but I can't find them on the small game list. Are we even allowed to hunt squirrel? and if so, when?

Squirrel are a nono in Quebec. For some reason the little f%$kers are protected here. I also would love to spend days in the woods with a .22 hunting them. I've heard that they are VERY tasty as they mostly feed on nuts.

sheesh... that doesn't make much sense to me, those tree rats breed like rabbit!

Maybe i'll make a trip to ontario just to get a few, unless they are protecter there as well...

Squirrels are yummy, just cook them as a rabbit and they taste like them too.
