Rifle

Cooper, H.S. Precision, kimber, or have something built. H.S. Precision would be my 1st choice basically hand built blueprinted and balanced action ,High quality all the way .

Sakos are well made rifles that are normally quite accurate. The only thing that I don't like about the Sako 85 is the synthetic stock. It seems cheap in comparison to the 75 synthetic stock.

They have a new synthetic stock now for the 85's, but not sure if any are in Canada yet...Called the Finnlight ST...

I would say a Sako 85, Sako A7, or a Tikka T3 in that order. Is your limit with or without glass? With glass go with Tikka with optilocks and maybe a VXIII. If without go with the Sako 85.

One thing I have learned is NOT to go cheap on the glass or rings/bases.

Not going to get into an HS for $2 grand, many of the newer Kimbers have been hit and miss for accuracy, not much from Cooper for 2K either. Sako might be you best bet. FS

I have a Sako 85 in grey wolf laminate topped off with a swaro scope. It is my go to rifle. Acurate as they claim, next time I would consider a finlight.
