Sorry is this was already covered, I have completed res/non res course and my instructor sent my tests on October 5th. It's has been almost 3 weeks and I
still waiting for them. Does it usually takes that long to get the test results back?

thanks in advance

I did my tests Sept 27 and I'm still waiting for my papers from Orillia. We were told if it takes longer than four weeks to give the CFO a call.

Oh well.

Sent my test results and app. to miramichi oct 6 and according to them they still havent recieved them. When i called they said once they get it it can take up to 3 weeks to register it as recieved. My test results took almost 4 weeks to get to me too.

My wife hasn't got her papers yet either. So I'm not too concerned about how long it's taking.

I'd don't expect to get my rpal, first firearm, and a club membership until at least March anyway. I'm totally expecting this process to take it's sweet time.

I got this from a sheet our instructor handed out after the course.

"If you do not receive your CAFC-332 form within 4 weeks please follow up by calling: 1-800-731-4000(press "1", then "1" again, then extension #"7514")

hope this helps you out. fwiw if you get it in the same amount of time it took my papers to come in then you should hopefully get them today, that is if your instructors mailed them out the next day.

I have finally received my test results from CFO! It took 31 working days. Going to send express mail to NB tomorrow:D Hoping to get my licenses before holidays.

Good luck with that - You still have the 28 days "cooling off" wait to go... Then they'll process the license. It's a long, drawn out process... But hey! The end result is much fun..:)

Just make sure your references are reachable. Mine took 46 days because they had to send a leter to one of my refs and have them call in. They will not leave messages on machines either.

Sorry to revive this but I completed my courses Oct 31 and Nov 1. My instructor said it will be about 2 weeks.

I called the number listed above here then 1, 1, ext 7514 and the nice lady informed me that it typically takes 4 weeks and this time of year they run behind by a few weeks.

I can appreciate that, however I'm still dissapointed as I know I have an almost equal amount of waiting still to go.

Yup, 4 weeks is standard. It took me exactly 4 weeks from sending it in to seeing "approved" on their website, and I received the card itself shortly after that.

You get used to waiting when it comes to guns, whether it's the license itself, ATTs, and endless assorted paperwork. :(
