My friend would like to know if the Aluminum or steel compensator for the original Marvel .22lr kit will work with the STI version you sell. I have no knowledge of compensators and conversion kits so I thought I'd ask you lol.
I doubt it.
The Marvel company had patents that Bob Marvel sold with the company.
He had to find new (turns out he found better) ways to do things with the kits he builds for STI.

Does eack kit come with an actual teast target? Any accuracy guarantee?
No and No.

STI never publishes accuracy statements. That's because it's too easy for them to do an accuracy test with match grade ammo from a ransom rest under proper conditions and publish a dimension and then have someone on the internet shoot his home made reloads out of one while jerking the trigger over a stump and get a horrible result.

They are covered under STI's satisfaction guarantee, though - if it doesn't shoot good enough for you - we'll take it back. (less shipping costs, within a reasonable amount of time & so long as you don't mess with it, of course)

I have yet to hear anyone complain about these kit's accuracy.;)

Try again. I've never had Sean take more than a day or two to respond.

Unfortuanatly this is the 2nd time I have contacted them about this kit. The last time was about this time last year, I sent 3 emails before I got a response 'out of stock'. I expected them to let me know when they were coming back in.......

Finally I send off another email, (hmmm tax refund time.... when I make most of my yearly firearm purchases) crickets again........ I think I'm done trying to buy stuff from FV.

I'm sure Sean is a fine guy, but so far it's like talking to the wall for me.

Well, I seem to be screwing everything up for you. Sorry about that. Lemme see if I can make it up to you. PM on the way.

I called them today and no they don't have any right now and they were expecting them maybe in 1.5 month.

I ordered some 1911 parts from them about a year and a half ago and asked to be put on the waiting list for one of these with a few spare mags at the time. In February of this year I noticed in this thread they had received some on a few deliveries and sold them but I didn't get a call. I could've called them to see what's going on but Blue LIne announced the availability of the GSG 1911 so I called them instead and ordered a GSG 1911. Not a big deal, we all get busy from time to time but based on my experience I don't think I'd be putting my name on any of their "waiting lists" again. FWIW, I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them on any item they have in stock.....
