These rifles are in better than average condition, and they come with matching bayonets! Getting a K31 in this condition with a matching bayonet is almost impossible today.

Some have been through various military refurb programs, most have not.

Any with an electro-pencilled serial on the bolt-shroud have been arsenal refurbed. My K31 has such a bolt. My K11 [actually a Model 96/11] is as new.

Look underneath the butt-plate for the soldier tag. Many of us on swissrifle forum have made contact with the former owner of their K31.
