Hunter shoots antler to save whitetail deer

I'm guessing the pain receptors at the base of antlers aren't particularly sensitive, or else deer wouldn't be smashing them into each other. Cool video to have caught that for us to see. I wonder how long they were locked onto each other?

I can handle the religious nuts in small doses... more so than the anti-freedom big govt loving fellas that typically frequent canadian forums

Hmmm. Would you really want deer meat from those two, exhausted, lactic acid laced, rutted up bucks? Ewww. I'd rather see them go and settle down for a bit before giving them the hard goodbye.

"...nice deer right there..." If it's in Texas, they're small. Texan deer tend to be much smaller than Canadian deer.
