AR grips with hockey pucks under them

What this? I believe it goes by something similar as a "target hand grip" or "ergo grip".

Yep, those are the ones. What makes them a "target" grip? Are they heavy?

I believe you mean a Palm Rest, I found this one at Brownells, but I believe you can get them at Fabsports who is a site sponsor.Most sites have them under the AR-15 pistol grip category. That's the search terms i used at Brownells to find this one.

Would give you a nice firm grip AND stable mono-pod type butt stock stabilization.

Based on the HK PSG style target grip IIRC. If you're looking to buy/build a long range target rifle, that style of grip will come in handy. If it is a plinking, CQB competition rifle, you're going to get some funny looks.
