BIG News for Ferret 50 and Safe Harbour 50 owners.

ATRS has just received confirmation that our trigger group for the Safety Harbour and Ferret .50 BMG uppers has been approved.

This part has been deemed to be a non-registerable trigger group. However in order to fit, the .50 BMG upper has to be modified so it cannot fit a regular AR15 lower. We will provide the lower complete with the trigger group. The grip, buffer tube and stock will be an extra cost.

Finally Ferret and Safe Harbour owners can shoot their big 50 cal uppers outside of an approved shooting range.

For more information see the ATRS .50 BMG Webpage http://albertatacticalrifle.com/50bmg.html

Did safety harbor ever export to Canada?

Looks very nice. Does it take AR stocks and PG?

Apparently they did at some time as we have 1 of their uppers here.
Yes the pistol grip and stock is standard AR furniture.

According to the RCMP lab guys the upper now becomes the registered part.
I don't get it but have the papers from them stating that.

Sapper
The cross pin bosses need to be milled off and then the bottom of the upper drilled and tapped to take bolts ala bolt action rifles use.
