Or at least a change.

I'm in the process of changing a couple of things on my main hunting rifle including a scope mount and stock change. In the process I'll need to paint the stock add a pad and could blacken the metal as well. What would you do?

Here it is now. Should I keep it these colours?

Or one of these?

Or a standard silver stainless finish with one of the above stock/pad colour combinations?

the synthetic brown looks god awful, like someone took a #### and rubbed it all over a nice stock. I prefer wood myself, but a black stock with stainless barrel is the next best thing to ###y in my book. Although I think your green looks pretty nice. If it were me I wouldn't spend the money to change it when it looks pretty good already

I'm partial to the Olive/stainless myself...:D

Also like the brown/black, but the black on black does nothing for me...

i like dark grey

McM's green and grey are too light for my eyes.

are LH legends available?

after screwing around with steel weavers and Z-rings, then a Talley kick, I'm switching over to the QR's. Simple and clean looking, repeatable, available very low mounting options, spare rings are cheap.

Keep it how it is, it looks great. The other 2 look cheap for some reason.

I would have a hard time calling an Echols Legend ugly.
