Looking for a Weaver Rail for my 870

Drill and tap Picatinny rails can be bought from CGN sponsor S&J Hardware.

Daves Surplus should be able to hook you up with a Mesa Tactical rail/sidesaddle combo.

we make a very heavy duty Mil spec drill and tap scope mount for $35.
it will need gun smith install.
will use large screws not the tiny ones you see on most mounts, this is for sure what you should be looking for on a shotgun mount.

BBB, on the mount you make that uses the large screws, do they align with factory Remington screw holes? Is it a case of making the holes bigger and re-tapping them or is the spacing different?

less screws larget holes different location, much stronger then factory, no chance of them working lose and snaping off.
