My mothers husband has an old rifle that his father found when he was a young man in an old farm house on some land they bought. He showed it to me the other night, and I've never seen anything quite like it. At first it had a bit of resemblance to a very old win mod 88, but when I looked at it closely it was stamped model 1899 .303 Savage. It's a lever action with an internal rotary mag, and a flip down front sight. Really unique to me, maybe they are quite common, so I thought I would ask here. Was there a lot of these? Anyone have one? Just curious. KO
