Coyote at the range.

I managed to put 5 into just under an inch at a lased distance of 204 yards.
Using 175gr SMK's in Federal brass (once fired), 43grs Varget and Fed match primers. Still tweaking the charge a bit though.

Death pit is about a ten minute drive up the Alaska Hwy, I can go there anytime as long as it's light out. There is another pit about half an hour up the Hwy where I can stretch it out to about 600 yards if I wanna hike a bit. Love the Yukon!

Still lookin' for the magical 1000 though.

Wow, I wish I could just drive up to anywhere I wanted and shoot like that where I'm at...

That is a very good grouping for a field-capable rifle - do you/would you hunt with it?

Ah yes friends of mine hunt sheep up in there, lots of room to shoot!! Neat to fish the lake trout in there as well, no need for a fish finder. I miss the Yukon.

We have a range here an hours drive outside of Edmonton that shoots out to 700 yrds. Best I've done is ringing the "steel gong" out at 400 yrds with my .204 and ringing the gong at 200 yrds with my 6" .44 magnum Taurus over open sights.

I always said you are a good shot. FS
