Gunslick, one step foaming bore cleaner?????

Are you leaving it in the bore or cleaning it out? I use it and clean it out after 20 mins. I haven't notice a grey residue in the bore - I have pushed patches through the bore after a couple of days and seen more gunk coming out. I think that the foam cleaner is still working but it isn't supposed to rust so I am not overly worried.

I haven't notice any residue with Outers Foaming Bore Cleaner.

You could switch to that if you are worried.
(The instructions say to oil everything down after cleaning out the cleaner
with a dry patch.)

I've tried this stuff on a couple different rifles now and noticed it leaves a grey residue inside the bores. It won't come off with regular solvent and doesn't want to scrub out with a brush. Anyone else notice it?

Does anything remove the grayness from your bore? Have you experienced this issue with other barrels? I use Gunslick and have never noticed any residue... my bores come out shiny.

Is there any chance that the grayness is actually some corrosion/frosting that you couldn't see earlier because it was filled smooth with copper?
