Mounting a Falcon 5-25x56 on a flatop AR

Can an American Defense 30mm QR mount be used with a Falcon Menace 5.-25x56 scope on a standard flatop AR with free float hand guard? Or will a riser block be required?

Not sure about the falcon, but when I had to mount my Barska on my flat top AR Rock River, I had to get the raiser mount to pass the fixed front sight

Good point, but all of mine have flat, low profile gas blocks.

I that case I think you will be ok.................. but sometimes I am wrong

i used a nf unimount extra high to mount it and it worked... but went back to the acog anyway.

well i mounted a falcon scope with 56mm objective on my Howa1500 using Low profile rings ... if you use high profile you would probably be alright

Follow up: I spoke to John at Wolverine this AM, and it appears that based on his expert experience, an ARMS 35 QR base and rings with high inserts is the way to go. This will give enough clearance for the 56mm objective and be able to swap onto a M14 and clear the ears of the rear site.
