1911 grip screws

I ordered some from Brownells, I was making an order anyway.

Just keep it under $100

Brownells would be excellent, but I have just had some bad experience with them: I tried to order the grips and they refused to ship them over the border, although it was well under $100 ("HAVE CANCELED YOUR ORDER AS THE MANUFACTURE HAS NOT REGISTERED W/OUR DEPT OF STATE." - God knows what it means).
Your purchase - was it recent?

Frankly speaking, it was the site I started from... Could not find the screws. Now I see that I was stupid, I should have looked a little bit deeper... But anyhow, even now I can see only one type of screws at http://www.marstar.ca/ac-colt1911S/index.shtm . And I cannot understand what kind of screw it is - blued or stainless, allen or flat? I'm looking for blued allen... Could you help me, John?

Let me guess, you tried to order a Pachmyer grip from Brownells?

If the Manufacturer does not have an agreement in place in regards to shipping to Can, then Brownelles cannot ship them.

I try to keep all of my parts from Brownelles with the following manuaftures;

Brownelles
Chip Mcormick
Wilson Combat
Houge

They will ship all those parts.

My last order was 3 or 4 weeks ago (I got it in 4 days) and was $286 + shipping.... I had to pay duty when I picked it up at the PO.

Cheers!

I'm in for one too, but I had the cash, and they had the double. lol :D

Hopefully I will have the $$ when the 29's come in too! Probably (if I know me), 4 or 5 hun is easy to come up with, 1K not so much..... Maybe if I didn't spend the 4 or 5 when I have it, the 1K would come easier....... nah! too much work!

Cheers!
