Ok so some of you know S&J hardware is making a bunch of AR15 Carbine barrels.
We have had many emails asking , can we do this, can we do that, can i buy the item stripped for cheaper and get my gunsmith to finish it off.
So i ask you, we have the chance to offer 2 barrel sizes at a good price, what would you be happy to pay for this and is their interest.
All parts are 100% Canadian made
Canadian made Ar15 carbine barrles.
11.5 or 16.1
4140 steel
1/9 twist
.556 Nato chamber
Barrel extension
M4 feed ramps
Drilled gas block hole
Light profile under handguards, heave barrle for gas block area foward
Mil Spec parkerised finish (extra $30)

Just curious but why 16.1" not 16.0"? Not that 0.1" matters to me but I am just wondering out loud here. Or is it just what your supplier has on hand?

Because the program we have for the CNC is a US program and 16.1 in the shortest you can have in most US states before is becomes what they call a SBR or NFA classed weapon, allso nothing shorter then 16.1 can be exported without DOD,DOT and NAFTA, DOS and HS getting involved:bangHead:
So we have a program to run 16.1 anthing else we have to change and will cost us set up time.

id buy right now as i'm a tight A** --- No I didn't vote that but I should have as for fare I think $200 is fare but that's me I'm from the city that claims it's whole sale or No sale. I'm glad your trying to make it low cost.

as for a barrel I'd love a 11.5" with 1/9 twist if you are making them...

Why 1:7 at all? How may folks are going to be shooting either tracer or Berger 90gr. bullets? 1:8 will handle everything from 80gr down.
