Sig 220 Question

I'm talking about BLM land in Arizona (burea of land management). BLM is US version of our crown land.

I'll take Cali laws any day over our rules.

There are spots in the desert to blast away too in Cali too!

Going to shoot now, but at the range. LOL

I guess I've never heard the term BLM..... and I've lived here for 30 years! HAHAHA

Cali compared to alot of states = the suck!

Oh yeah? That's okay... You probably shot on BLM desert land and not know it. LOL!

Yeah, Cali does suck compared to other states but it's awesome compared to Canada even with some very retarded rules. However, they don't need ATT to take their goods out into the 'bush'. That alone is gold. I'll live with Cali rules, but of course, would love Arizona, Vermount or Alaska rules.

Here's a website for SoCal desert plinkers: http://www.socalcamping.com/shooting/shoot_info.html

Proper storage sounds optional to me according to their laws. It only must be kept 'safe' if there is anyone under 18 living in the same household.

oh ya this thread got derailed a while ago.. i think it's my fault though, so i apologize OP!

i was just running some holster drills with my p220 :)

Alright back on topic. I only fired 20rds of 45 ACP and I forget which semi it was but I think it was a S&W.

In terms of 'omph'. How much more is it compared to 9mm? I know 40 doesn't feel that much more (P226 vs P229) and when I tried 45, the kick wasn't so bad. But I don't remember it relative to the 9 or 40.

I'm just looking for excuses to convert my P220 Classic. I'm in no hurry yet due to insufficient cash flow. Plus, S&W 629 is on my hit list first early next year. Thankfully casting my 9mm boolits brings cost down to a stingy $2.50/box is very rewarding. :)
