This interesting paperweight "trigger group" was given to me and I wondered what it is. Supposed to be something HK; prototype? for some existing model, or modification thereof?
Came from Germany and is made from solid aluminum, with all it's features machined.
Can anyone recognize this thing? Thanks in advance for satisfying my curiosity.

Does it say "HK" on it? or Heckler and Koch?

Sometimes the German's do funny things with date codes, so it may be just a date code on it. (my HK Mark23's date code is AE = 04 = 2004)

I've never seen anything HK made that looks like that, unless its ULTRA recent, since it looks like HK is doing some runs of the FN MAG (like that they did with the Enfield SA80)

It's part of the fire control linkage of the HK GMG, an automatic, mounted grenade launcher. If you look at a side view pic, ammo box/ belt side, you can see it just below the spade grip. Google it. It does look like a handle, but it isn't. Coincedence.

Go banana.

No markings on it at all. I was just told it was made by or for HK.
