I've answered this question quite a few times before... the answer hasn't changed...

According to the RCMP there is no 10/30 AR magazine design that they will classify as anything but a Prohibited Device. This was their ruling 3 years ago and this was their confirmed position several months ago when we last inquired.

Mark thanks, I run Pmags never even thought about the ten rounders so I never really knew but thanks for the reply:redface:
 
2 LAR-15's coupled seems like a doable setup...I'm so glad our laws make no sense...thanks Mark for pointing out the LAR's...I keep forgetting about those...by the way...I just saw on Canadaammo that they show a LAR 10/30 mag (out of stock)...(hence the edit)...

really hurts when you see them at Milarm for 50.00 used....


It REALLY hurts when people find out we pay just over 6 bucks ea for unpinned mags at work.

I just ordered 5 of those LAR-15 mags along with 2 couplers and I must say awesome, awesome quality. And with the coupler they are are the exact same length as the 5/30 rnd mags.
 
I just purchased an HK high reliability steel maritime 5/30 STANAG mag (I think) for 65$. Maybe I'm foolish, but anything stamped "HK" is a seal of approval in my books. Note that I purchased it used on the EE, so your results can differ.

50? Wow...I tend to not go to MilArms.

hopefully I can find some at the Edmonton Gun Show tomorrow.
