I've been wanting to try .357 SIG for some time in a Glock, and at the last Victoria gun show, I picked up 1000 rds of .357 SIG factory ammo,
Remington 125 GR FMJ.

Is there anyone in Victoria who has a GLOCK in .357 SIG, who will let me shoot a few rounds of .357 SIG, to try out this cartridge side by side with 9mm and .40 out of my G22, before I buy myself another Glock in .357 SIG??

I would be glad to donate a box of .357 SIG ammo or pay cash for the chance to test fire your Glock .357 ...
or if you also are curious about side by side comparisons of these three cartridges, I could let you shoot my G22 in .40 S&W and in 9mm???
thanks

Laz... I don't have my guns out here.. And I think you may enjoy my ported G33 with a doctor optic

BUT I do have a lone-wolf g22 357 sig conversion barrel that you can borrow... I can have my wife ship it out and you can just return it to me..

I may actually let you "pay" me by taking me to the range..

I've been working away from home so long just to be that close to a range will bring back the excitement.. Being here in Vic for the last year without wheels is starting to take it's toll on me..
I'd like my life back but i'd settle for getting a life

I want a life.

Thanks for the offers ...

What I want is a STOCK complete G31,
or
just the stock G31 barrel.

I want to do some testing regarding recoil and case expansion with the .357 SIG in the stock Glock G31 barrel.

This is because I am planning on buying another GLOCK, and am trying to decide between another G22, or a [new to me ] G31.

Anyone shooting .357 SIG in a GLOCK G31 barrel and reloading??
What do your .357 SIG cases look like at the back??
thanks

anyone shooting .357 Sig in a stock Glock barrel?
How do the cases look at the back?

Shooting Factory .357 SIG Remington 125 Gr FMJs through a couple of aftermarket SS .357 SIG G22 conversion barrels, the cases look pretty good. Primers barely show any flow at all into the rectangular Glock firing pin hole in the breech face, not flattened. No big bulges at the back.

PS: Does anyone have a set of .357 SIG reloading dies they want to sell?
Any reloading tips for the .357 SIG newbie?

Try to avoid round nose bullets as much as possible... I mean, I've loaded quite a bit but it makes bullet seating a lot trickier. With some round nose bullet designs, you have very little margin of error to seat the bullet deep enough to fit the mag without it being so deep that the mouth of the case site loosely around the nose. The very short neck means very little usable surface to exert neck tension on the bullet.
