Pistol Ammo

Plan to stock up on ammo this winter. What do the following bullet designations mean? Some are readily decodable, other are not. Any help would be appreciated.

A complete list would really help.

FMJ - Full metal jacket
JSP - Jacketed soft point
JHP - Jacketed hollow point
MC - ???

I'm really not sure, but I think MC refers to a fully enclosed (metal cased) bullet where even the base -- normally exposed lead -- is covered by the bullet jacket.

First box of 9mm I purchased was Speer LAWMAN designated TMJ CF. Had a wierd inconsistant point/nose?
