Agreed. The PMC K100 is the best deal going for 5.56. I'm going to grab more.

For .223 I just got a case at Blue Line. $450 for Fiocchi. Shipping would probably eliminate most of the savings for you...

The 5.56 is a little more powerful and a little more expensive. I can shoot both, but have yet to run the 5.56 in my rig. Just want to give it a go for sh!ts and giggles.

If you have a BDC setup for SS109 and you have SS109 or compatible 5.56, then the BDC is going to be a bit more correct.

And it's cooler.

For punching paper at action-shooting ranges... the difference is your gun will last a bit longer with .223. But you won't notice it unless you're in the habit of wearing guns out.

5.56 is Nato is milspec and shoots straighter and more accurately. With my mini 14 I can shoot .2moe freehand at 300m with 5.56 as opposed to .5 moe with canadian tire white box stuff.

5.56 helps me keep on top of my game.
